Johor Bahru – Wow, what a day it has been yesterday. We are tired from a whole day of activities but we had a great time, following the Proton R3 Malaysia Rally Team around Johor Bahru.

The day ended with the Ceremonial Start for the Malaysian Rally team at Plaza Angsana. The place was crowded with families and motorsports fans to catch competing teams from MRF Tyres, GSR Penzoil Racing Team, Pertamina Rally Team, Cusco Racing, Hasepro World Rally Team,MRU Motorsports and not to forget, our own Proton R3 Malaysia Rally Team. The ceremony was witnessed by the Tunku Temenggong of Johor, Tunku Idris and the teams were treated to Malaysian traditional performances.

The ceremony then proceeded with the Flag-Off of the AAM Malaysian Rally Championship competing teams. 13 local & international teams will be vying for the title of AAM Malaysian Rally Champion. If you are not familiar with the teams, here’s a line-up of the competing teams of the AAM Malaysian Rally Championship:
